The Super designation reflects the remarkable thinness of the wool: the higher the Super S value, the finer the fibre and thus the softer the fabric crafted from it. In fact, Utopia Super 220\u2019s wool boasts exceptionally fine fibres at just 12.75 microns, making this one of the most valuable raw materials in the world of tailoring.
\nOne of the distinctive features of Utopia Super 220\u2019s is its 2-ply (2\/140) weave, which gives the fabric a superior warp and weft structure. This technique involves twisting two yarns together to create a single thread, enhancing the fabric’s strength and durability.
