Reaffirming its commitment to its long-standing ties with the world of golf and celebrating the Road to Ryder Cup 2025, Loro Piana presents the Golf Capsule for men and women, an innovative, functional yet versatile wardrobe that transcends conventional golf apparel and adds a touch of sophisticated elegance on and off the course.
The active, outdoor life is truly a way of being and of dressing. In 2016, Loro Piana first designed the official uniforms for Team Europe and the Ryder Cup proved to be an “open-air laboratory”, a unique occasion to test state-of-the-art fabrics in the field, in a variety of conditions. The aim was to bring to golf the savoir-faire that has been the Maison’s hallmark for 100 years: timeless design, a signature touch, extraordinary craftsmanship and exceptional performance.
The capsule blends technical performance with precious fibres in a distinctive colour palette: white, beige and navy with a touch of kummel, the emblematic Loro Piana hue. Combining heritage and contemporary influences, stripes are the fil rouge of the capsule: along the sleeves, shoulders, chest, and collars, they highlight the movements with elegance and style.
The capsule includes modern and high performing pieces, all with pure, simple lines: trousers, bermudas and skirts in Techno Wool Bistretch Rain, the Carry quilted vest in wool bouclé, the Kyne hooded parka and the iconic reversible Loro Piana Bomber in Wind Stretch Storm System® with stripes on cotton lining. For knitwear – vests, V neck sweaters, long and short-sleeved polo shirts -, the Extra Long Staples Cotton and the Sea Island Cotton offer natural, soft, light and breathable fibres for excellent thermoregulation.
A selection of accessories completes the offer. Loro Piana’s “Road to” Baseball Hat and leather gloves pay tribute to Ryder Cup 2025. The 100% silk printed scarf ‘Il Putt Perfetto’, features the most representative symbols of golf, from the glove to the little flags, from the golf balls to the Ryder Cup Trophy.
