Ο Μάικ Ννολ είναι Αμερικανός ηθοποιός με έδρα τη Βόρεια Καρολίνα, ένας δημιουργός που μοιράζει την παρουσία του ανάμεσα στην κάμερα και τη σκηνή. Με έντονο συναίσθημα και ευελιξία στους ρόλους του, έχει συμμετάσχει σε πληθώρα κινηματογραφικών και καλλιτεχνικών παραγωγών, αφήνοντας το προσωπικό του στίγμα.
Μεταξύ των έργων του ξεχωρίζουν τα Every Day is Exactly the Same, Slice και Wasted Talent. Αυτή την περίοδο εμφανίζεται ζωντανά στο θεατρικό Souvlaki Girl, εξελίσσοντας ακόμη περισσότερο το εκφραστικό του εύρος και τη δυναμική του πάνω στη σκηνή.
-Ποτέ δεν φαντάστηκα ότι θα παίξω τον ρόλο μιας ελληνίδας γιαγιάς. Τόσο διασκεδαστικό! Και έμαθα πολλά για τις συμπεριφορές τους.
-Πώς προετοιμάζεστε για έναν ρόλο σε ένα κωμικό έργο;
-Ξεκινώ πάντα με το να χαμογελάω, μετά γελάω. Και αν είναι δυνατόν, παίζω παιχνίδια αυτοσχεδιασμού για να εντείνω τη συγκέντρωση.
-Ποια είναι η αγαπημένη σας σκηνή από την παράσταση και γιατί;
-Απολαμβάνω όλες τις σκηνές. Οι ελληνίδες γιαγιάδες όμως ίσως να ξεχωρίζουν λίγο παραπάνω.
-Ποιον χαρακτήρα της παράστασης αγαπάτε περισσότερο και γιατί;
-Επειδή αγαπώ το φαγητό, απολαμβάνω τον ρόλο του Άγιου Βασίλη. Σκέφτομαι πάντα τα νόστιμα πιάτα και αυτό με κάνει να χαμογελάω. Αν κάποιος μπορούσε να φέρει και μπακλαβά γεμάτο μέλι, τότε θα ήμουν πιο χοντρός και από τον Άγιο Βασίλη!
-Για ποιο λόγο επιλέξατε να γίνετε ηθοποιός;
-Αγαπώ τη ζωή και την ιδέα να μοιράζομαι ιστορίες. Οι παραστάσεις παρέχουν ένα παράδειγμα, μία διέξοδο, ένα μάθημα, μία ελπίδα για εκείνους που παρακολουθούν. Αν κάποιος δει τον χαρακτήρα μου και νιώσει ένα συναίσθημα, αυτό είναι πολύ ανταποδοτικό.
Mike Knoll is an American actor based in North Carolina. With a strong presence both in front of the camera and on stage, he has taken part in multiple cinematic projects and creative productions, showcasing emotional depth and adaptability in diverse roles.
Some of his work includes: “Every Day is Exactly the Same”,“Slice”,“Wasted Talent”.
Currently, Mike is starring live on stage in the show “Souvlaki Girl”, further expanding his artistic range and stage performance skills.
-Mike, what made you want to be part of this comedy show “Souvlaki Girl”?
-Katerina invited me to do a few TikToks with her and “Souvlaki Girl” and had a wonderful time. When she asked if I would be interested in doing more of a show, of course I said “yes!”
– What was the funniest or most unexpected moment that happened to you during rehearsals?
-I never thought I would play a role of a Greek grandmother. Such fun! And learned a great deal of the behaviors of them.
-How do you prepare for a role in a comedy performance?
-First start by smiling, then have some laughs. And if possible, play some improvisation games to sharpen focus.
-What is your favorite scene from the show and why?
-I enjoy all the scenes. The Greek Grandmothers though might lead the others by just a little.
-Which character in the show do you love the most and why?
-Being that I do love to eat food, I enjoy playing Santa Claus. Thinking about having tasty dishes makes me smile. Now if someone could bring some baklava dripping in honey, I will be truly larger than Santa!
-What are your future plans and goals in your career?
-Good question. I would love to make a change in life and be truly financially independent while supporting my family, friends, and community. I want to help people achieve their goals. That will be a very fulfilling role.
-What is your wish for 2026?
-My wish is to bring people together. We are in volatile times and some upheaval. We have forgotten some of our basic decency to others. I would like to help heal those who are interested in truly coming together to improve the world.
