The pool is a magnesium pool, offering a natural and eco-friendly alternative to traditional chlorine pools. What enchanted me even more, was the fact that the electricity used in the hotel is generated solely by solar panels. The rooms are spacious with a lovely scent.

But what had me captivated was the food. Breakfast was one of the most amazingly delicious and freshly provided breakfasts I have ever had. Their Vegan Chef, Aggeliki Charami, brings the hotel’s vision to life by continually exploring new flavor profiles and hidden ingredients. Blending the essence of Mediterranean treasures and aromas with the precision of Japanese culinary traditions, her creations engage the senses, evoke emotion, and awaken memories. When she prepares dinner, the whole vibe is at a whole different level! Inspired by the harmony and contrast found in nature, Koukoumi’s menu offers a dining experience that is both unexpected and one that you will never forget.

Chef Aggeliki and the whole team invite you on a nostalgic journey through time—a place where past and future intertwine in delicate harmony, and the rhythm of the seasons stirs cherished memories. Drawing inspiration from the elements of this very land—from the sea’s salty breeze and sun-dried rocks to the arid soil and ripening sun-kissed fruit, their experimental cuisine is a heartfelt tribute to the ancestral wisdom rooted in nature’s cycles. What is more, the Koukoumi team prioritizes local products such as mushrooms, salt, beer, fruits, and cactus leaves, as well as ingredients primarily produced in Greece.
